Brandie and Nate's Cincinnati Engagement Session

I had a great time running around Eden Park and Mt. Adams with Brandie and Nate for their engagement session.  They met a few years ago when Nate was Brandie's real estate agent.  They love to travel and spend time outdoors. Nate surprised Brandie with a proposal on a trip out west.  How romantic! :)  I am excited for their French Park wedding coming up in September.  Brandie is a fellow thrift store junkie, she is adding lots of vintage touches to her wedding, I cant wait to see what she comes up with.        Nothing like ending a great photo session with a couple of cocktails and good conversation.  I have the coolest clients ever! :)

Family Session on a Farm

Jennifer contacted me a few months ago about setting up this very special family session.  She has had a very tough year in and out of the hospital with a blood disease that has changed her life dramatically.  She has fought hard, with the support of her loving family and friends she is home feeling better.  This photo session is her way of celebrating her life and her family. I am so happy to be part of it! :)

We did the session at Jennifer's parents house, which happens to be on a glorious farm in Kenton County.  Jennifer, her husband Chris and her daughter Avery showed me around the farm while I snapped pictures of them.  This farm has what every great farm should have, cows, roosters, an orchard,  a huge barn, and lots of dogs protecting the place.  Ahhhh... my dream house for sure!

Exploring Kentucky

Yesterday Dave and I took a mini road trip 2 hours south of Cincinnati to Bardstown, KY.  We drove down to check out a venue for a wedding I have coming up.  While we were out we did a little exploring.

The next three were taken by Dave while I was driving.  I adore these and will be ordering prints very soon.  I love how much he likes to experiment, it pushes me to do the same.
